It was a great experience working in the construction lab together with Dr. Aylie. She recruited me as lab staff when I was waiting for my PhD scholarship in Singapore. During that time, less than one year, I learn so many things, not only technical things in doing experiments, but also management and social skills. She is smart, fun and care for others, sometimes can be very strict depending on the work performance, but she did it to bring the best potential that someone has. Moreover, she always encourage students to continue the study overseas, while providing numerous supports in preparation for the international exposure. I know I may not be what I am now without her. Hence, I want to say thank you for the continuous guidance and also support from all the construction lab staff when I was there.
